The sale of aerosols (including imports) for the year 2001 amounted, according to final estimations, to a total of 570 million units, of which :
The figures for 2001 show, on the face of it, a 7% decrease in production and a 5% decrease in sales. In reality, the figures are due to an improvement to the statistics system made by the CFA which removes the risks of overestimating the figures provided for the survey.
